BYU First Gen/Multicultural 5 Day Summer Program: Academic workshops on applying to college, navigating college, ACT, choosing majors and more
University of Utah Summer Mathematics program: Free program, earn college credits, must be prepared to enter Calculus. Calculus not required.
UVU Summer Bridge Program: Free online Business/Engineering and Science program, earn college credits. Admitted students participate in college-level courses, as well as in success and career exploration workshops.
SLCC Summer Bridge Program: For all graduating seniors from Granite School District and SLC School District. Earn college credit, get a stipend for attending, get a FREE brand-new laptop that you get to keep once the summer program is over!
GTI Summer Agriculture Program: For students that took Ag or are taking an Ag class next year. Earn summer credits with Field Trips, Animal Wash Days, Greenhouse activities, Service, Workshops and/or Pet Shows.
Multilingual Language Learners Jump Start Classes: Jump Start is a summer school program at Cottonwood High that helps Multilanguage learners, English as a Second Language learners further their education, language and obtain credit recovery.
Granite School District Summer School Online: GSD Online classes are free this summer. Registration is due May 6th. Classes begin June 9th and end August 6th.

BYU 5-Day Summer Program for First-Generation and Multicultural Students: SOAR Program
SOAR aims to connect first-generation, multicultural, and students with limited access to educational opportunities with BYU. Students apply in their junior year of high school, and if accepted, attend a 5-day summer program that provides them with academic workshops (ACT, college prep, choosing majors, applying to and navigating college), as well as connecting them with our office and the various services we provide to students throughout their BYU experience and beyond (cultural, personal, and financial advisement).
Normally SOAR is a 5-day in-person event where we bring students to campus. Because of COVID-19 we are still offering SOAR in an all-virtual format.

The Summer Mathematics Program for High School Students at the University of Utah provides outstanding students an opportunity to develop their talents to the fullest. By presenting intriguing puzzles, challenging problems and powerful ideas, the program stimulates curiosity, develops the intellect, and lays a strong foundation for future work in mathematics, the sciences, or science related careers.
UVU Summer Bridge Program
Utah Valley University is excited to share the opportunity for your high school students to participate in our free online Summer Bridge 2021 college credit programs!
Utah Valley University’s tuition-free online Summer Bridge programs aim to increase the number of underrepresented Utah high school students who graduate in the fields of business, engineering, and science. Admitted students participate in college-level courses, as well as in success and career exploration workshops.
These programs are for Utah high school students currently in grades 10th-12th. (Graduating seniors and students entering 10th graders will be considered based on program availability).

WHO SHOULD APPLY? Students with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. Utah high school students currently in grades 10th – 12th. Graduating seniors and students entering 10th grade will be considered based on availability. Students considering attending Utah Valley University and majoring in business, engineering, or science.

COST: These Summer bridge college courses are tuition-free. Admitted students who have not taken UVU concurrent enrollment classes will need to pay a $35 nonrefundable UVU admission application fee.

The SLCC Summer Bridge program prepares graduating Seniors for success in college. June 14 - August 7.

Field Trips may include: Antelope Island, Days of 47 Rodeo, Dog Trainer, Hawk Watch, Thanksgiving Point Gardens and more. Workshops may include: Sow your Seeds, Goat Guru, Bring your Buyer, Understand Ultrasounds and more.
