CRUCIAL INFORMATION:
The purpose of the Cottonwood Graduation Parade is for our students to walk with their fellow classmates one last time.
Social distancing protocol must be observed at all times.
Our faculty and staff will be lining the parade round with cheers and encouragement.
Gloves and masks are encouraged for all graduates.
Parents will NOT be allowed along the parade route to take pictures.
Parents are expected to stay in the north parking lot in vehicles at all times. Please see information below from our PTSA President, Jane Metcalf, for a fun idea!
The parade route is a 15 minute walk. Graduates should wear comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing under the graduation gown.
Each student's name will be read over the loud speaker just before the gown is returned and the diploma given.
Students keep their cap and can decorate if they choose!
Students return their gown.
Diplomas will NOT be held if graduates have not paid all fees. Please call the main office to work out a payment plan.
Thank you in advance for helping us create a safe environment for our graduates! It is crucial that everyone adheres to the social distancing protocol mandates.
GRADUATION MESSAGE FROM COTTONWOOD PTSA PRESIDENT JANE METCALF
We are proud of our amazing seniors and wish them a future of happiness and success! The many lessons learned at Cottonwood, even online during a pandemic, will shape who they become! A big thank you to the administration and teachers who have gone above and beyond to help our seniors feel celebrated and appreciated! We will be cheering as we watch the Virtual Graduation on the 22nd!
Senior parents - we would invite you to DECORATE YOUR CARS in honor of your graduates on Friday! As the students walk from Woodstock to Cottonwood, we think it would be thrilling to have a parking lot filled with decorated care to welcome them! Think black and gold streamers, balloons, posters -- let's get creative! This will be a unique 2020 way to celebrate!
